Sexual Assault in our area investigated

Toronto Police is seeking the assistance of the public in investigating a sexual assault that took place in the Keele Street and Downsview Park area.

imageToronto police say they are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted near Downsview Park on Thursday night.

Police say a 39-year-old woman was walking in the area of Keele Street and Downsview Park at about 8 p.m. when she was approached by an unknown male suspect.

The suspect allegedly grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her.

He then fled the scene on foot, police said.

He is described as a brown-skinned male, wearing a grey sweater with a hood, light blue jeans and black and grey coloured shoes.
