A recent gruesome murder around the Jane and Finch area saw a stabbing victim seeking help in the closed Humber River Finch hospital. ERS came to the closed hospital but they were too late – he died of his wounds shortly thereafter. Now Police is asking for the public’s help.

The shooting took place in front of a Toronto Community Housing complex on Shoreham Court near Jane Street at around 11:50 a.m. Police say their preliminary invetigation suggests that the shooter or shooters fired on the victim over a fence before fleeing the scene. The victim was taken to hospital by someone other than paramedics but was pronounced dead a short time later. Police initially said that a young child had been shot, however they later corrected themselves and said that the victim is 17. The burned remains of a victim's body were recently discovered in a fire pit in the Northwood Park, at Sentinel and Sheppard and police needs help identifying the body.

The past 24h have not been particularly auspicious for our neighbourhood, our very own 32 Division investigating a fall off a 6th floor and a shooting in a park.

The recent shooting at a Vaughan cafe was connected to organized crime and illegal gambling and is most likely connected to the shooting of innocent bystander Louise Russo.

Two shootings were reported today, on near St Lawrence, the other at Jane and Driftwood.
