Shooting and Jane and Driftwood

The new year started with a bit of snow, but snow quickly turns to mud.

Police continue to investigate following a shooting in the Jane and Finch neighbourhood Monday night.
It happened in the Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue area at around 7 p.m.
The victim – a man believed to be in his 20s – was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately known.

Police said via Twitter two men were seen running from the area and getting into an SUV.

Stabbing in Downsview and tow truck driver pandemonium

Police is investigating a stabbing in our area and tow truck drivers are protesting a new law.
