The new year started with a bit of snow, but snow quickly turns to mud.

Police continue to investigate following a shooting in the Jane and Finch neighbourhood Monday night.

It happened in the Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue area at around 7 p.m.

The victim – a man believed to be in his 20s – was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately known.

Police said via Twitter two men were seen running from the area and getting into an SUV.
